Plans

In the design of the new wooden building, respect for the traditional Café Ursula has been maintained. In addition to familiar features, such as the large terrace framed by a white sail and the round-roofed Merisali, the building also incorporates influences from Japanese wooden architecture and coastal cliffs.

Although the overall appearance of the new building is low-rise, it will be constructed in two floors. The popular terrace area will expand, and it will be complemented by a sun terrace on the second floor.
The floor area of the new building will increase by approximately one third.
The large terrace of Ursula will be even better suited for hosting events in the future.
The elevation of the yard area will elegantly separate the yard from the waterfront walking path.
